The Youth Policy aimed at attracting students of educational institutions and developing young employees of the Company, improving their professional and research potential, and promoting social activity and creativity, is an important area of Inter RAO Group work.
To form a single HR management system as part of improving forms and methods of youth outreach, Inter RAO Group approved and introduced the Youth Policy .
The main areas of the Youth Policy are the following:
- forming a pool of highly qualified employees in the Company;
- developing the Company’s innovative potential;
- government relations and interaction with other organizations;
- fostering spiritual and moral values, and promoting physical education;
- social responsibility.
The Youth Policy is based on fundamental principles, which provide guidance for decision-making and organizing youth outreach;
Succession – active involvement of the most experienced Company employees in processes related to mentoring, on-boarding and training of young professionals to disseminate and share expertise, knowledge, skills and competences;
Responsibility – directing the Company employees towards achieving the Policy targets, promoting the achievement of the Policy goals and objectives, meeting corporate ethical standards without causing situations which may entail information, image and reputational risks, both for the Company and an employee;
Cooperation – creating conditions for sharing expertise and strengthening relationship between young Company employees, social, educational, and government organizations, to improve performance of joint projects and form the feeling of participation and engagement in tackling industry and social issues;
Consistency – understanding the need for transition from individual events and initiatives in various areas to a centralized approach to youth engagement in social development processes, and in active participation in the Company work related to personal development, social projects, innovations, R&D, and practice;
Innovations – appreciating people of various generations, interest in supporting initiatives of the Company young employees aimed at designing and introducing new technologies, approaches and methods of work to improve the efficiency of the Company operations;
CSR – implementing a business-management vision focused on meeting expectations of all stakeholders in the process of integrated and sustainable development of economic, social and environmental aspects of the Company operations, which meets current requirements and does not compromise opportunities and aspirations of future generations.
