The Group Inter RAO UES received the status of a Guaranteeing supplier in the Vladimir region

The Energosbyt Volga company entering into Inter RAO Group received the status of the Guaranteeing supplier of the electric power to consumers of the Vladimir region. The corresponding order of the Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation was published on March 20, 2018.

As a result of work in the Vladimir region, Inter RAO Group intends to significantly improve the production performance of the energy sales business segment. In particular, the number of consumers is expected to increase by 435,000, the volume of electricity sold in the retail market by 3.7 billion kWh, and the Group's share in the Russian retail market is expected to grow to 17.5%.

The cost of Inter RAO for obtaining the status of a guaranteeing supplier of electricity in the Vladimir region amounted to 530 million rubles, - said the head of the retail business unit of Inter RAO Dmitry ORLOV. - We expect that we will pay them back within five years. Vladimir region we are interested in the fact that we can replicate in it the experience in building an effective retail business, which we received in the Omsk and Orel regions, where we acquired the status of GP at auction. In addition, this region has an attractive proximity to Moscow.
