Mikhail Galperin was appointed Deputy General Director, Head of Legal Affairs Division of PJSC Inter RAO. Prior to this, he was a representative of the Russian Federation in the European Court of Human Rights, and Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation.
Among the tasks, assigned to the new Head, are participation in the preparation of legal acts on the implementation of the Energy Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2035, participation in tax monitoring and other initiatives of the Federal Tax Service, legal support of the current major projects of Inter RAO Group both in Russia and abroad.
Mikhail Galperin was born in 1983 and graduated with honors from Saint Petersburg State University and University of London majoring in law.
In 2004-2009, he worked in the commercial sector.
From March 2010, Mr Galperin held various positions in the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, and in 2015 he was appointed Deputy Minister by the order of the President of the Russian Federation. In 2017 Mikhail Galperin was appointed representative of the Russian Federation in the European Court of Human Rights and Deputy Minister.
Mikhail Galperin is Doctor of Law and Active State Counselor (Justice), 1st Class. He was awarded the Russian Federation Presidential Certificate of Honor and the Medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland”, 2nd class.
