Inter RAO Group acquires IT company Sigma

Inter RAO Group has closed a deal to acquire a 100% interest in the charter capital of Sigma LLC, a large company working in the IT field. Acquisition of this asset will allow the Group to implement measures aimed at digital transformation of its business on the basis of existing assets, enter the IT market and broaden the range of products and services.

Sigma LLC provides integrated services for digitalization of Russian power industry and utilities sector, and, in particular, conducts activities aimed at automation of power grid and power supply companies, including designing, implementation, support, and development of analytical, billing, and settlement systems and mobile solutions.

The deal was closed as part of the medium-term Development Strategy of Inter RAO Group for a period up to 2025 with an outlook for 2030, which was approved in 2020 and provides for more than the twofold growth of revenues and EBITDA by 2030 as compared to 2019, including due to acquisition of new assets and diversification of business.
