Moscow, 23 November 2009. Today at the meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC RusHydro held in the form of joint presence Evgeniy Dod was elected Chairman of the Management Board of the company.
The Board of Directors of JSC RusHydro also elected several top managers of INTER RAO UES Group to be present in the Management Board of the company. They are Rakhmetulla Alzhanov, Evgeniy Gorev, Mikhail Mantrov, George Rizhinashvili and Yuriy Sharov.

E.V. Dod was born in 1973 in Moscow. In 1995 he graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute (state technical university) MAI with a specialization in Economics and Management for Mechanical Engineering Enterprises. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics.
He has been involved in the electric power industry for more than ten years. From 1999 to 2000 he worked as deputy head of the export department of RAO UES of Russia. From June 2000 to 2008 he was the General Director of CJSC INTER RAO UES. From May 2008 he held the position of Chairman of the Management Board of JSC INTER RAO UES. Evgeniy Dod was awarded a honourary diploma of the Energy Council of the CIS. He also has the Honorary Title of Honoured Power Engineer and Honoured Power Engineer of the CIS, rewards of other states.

JSC RusHydro is the largest generating company in Russia, unifying 53 renewable energy facilities. On September 1, 2009 the installed capacity of JSC RusHydro comprised 25.3 GW, including the Neporozhny Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Power Station (6400 MW), which at present is undergoing repair work following an accident on 17 August 2009.
